In his inaugural cabinet meeting, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a significant initiative to provide free dialysis services to chronic kidney patients across all government hospitals in the state. This move fulfills a key promise made during the recent elections by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Free Dialysis Services for Chronic Kidney Patients

During a press conference, Saini emphasized that the government would begin offering these services immediately, as dialysis costs can reach between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 per month. “The first file I signed after taking charge was related to this decision. The Haryana government will now bear these expenses for patients,” he stated.

Implementation of SC Sub-classification

In addition to healthcare improvements, Saini also addressed the implementation of the Supreme Court’s ruling that empowers states to create sub-classifications within the Scheduled Castes for reservation purposes. He confirmed that the state would enact this decision effective immediately.

A Message to the People of Haryana

Saini, who recently began his second term as chief minister, expressed gratitude to the people of Haryana for their support, stating, “By voting the BJP back into power, the people have endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies.” He criticized the Congress party for spreading misinformation and attempting to provoke discord among farmers and the poor.

Warning to Criminals in the State

In a stern message to criminals, Saini warned that those involved in illegal activities should either change their behavior or leave the state. “I urge those engaged in crime to mend their ways,” he declared.

Conclusion

This announcement marks a pivotal step in Saini’s agenda to enhance healthcare services and ensure justice within the state.
