In a significant development, Nayab Singh Saini has been unanimously chosen as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislative Party, just a day before his swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for a second consecutive term. This follows the BJP’s historic victory in the October 5 Haryana Assembly elections.

The announcement was made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a ceremony at the BJP office in Panchkula. Saini’s predecessor, Manohar Lal Khattar, was also present at the event, along with other senior BJP leaders and MLAs.

Nayab Singh Saini is set to take the oath of office on October 17, marking the beginning of his second tenure as Haryana’s Chief Minister. This leadership change comes after the BJP’s impressive electoral performance, reinforcing the party’s influence in the state.

In a lighthearted moment following his appointment, Saini was offered jalebi by Haryana BJP leaders, symbolizing the celebratory mood within the party.
